Bio
I am a freelance journalist/photojournalist who’s been writing and taking photographs since 1999. My work has appeared in publications such as Rolling Stone, URB, Jointz, Music Connection, Skratch, Tattoo Savage, Outburn, KTLA News, and many more.
I received my Secondary Education Teaching Credential in English at California State University, Northridge, where I have also obtained Bachelor of Arts degrees in Journalism and English. As I continue to freelance in my journalism career, I also work as an online high school English teacher for the LAUSD.
The recent update to www.undergroundup.com features photographs I’ve taken since 2005. I also added a personal blog that will feature music, book, movie, fashion, travel reviews, etc. And occasionally, I will re-post some of my past interviews with notable musicians and artists.
